A tech creator took to TikTok to shed light on 3D printing company Creality after experiencing what appears to be a flood of bot-generated positive comments on his YouTube video featuring their latest product.

Creality has long been known as one of the most accessible and popular brands in the world of 3D printers. Their Ender 3 printer, in particular, has gained popularity for its affordability, user-friendliness, and wide availability from various retailers.

DaPoets, the tech creator, raised concerns about Creality’s practices in a TikTok video posted on October 3, 2023. In the video, he showcased the comments section of his YouTube upload, which featured one of Creality’s new products. What caught his attention was that the comments section appeared to be filled with overwhelmingly positive remarks about the Creality K1 Max printer.

DaPoets expressed his unease, saying, “Now this is some shady stuff right here. I made a YouTube video about the Creality K1 3D Printer yesterday, posted that to my YouTube channel and… Creality, this some shady stuff.”

In the video, he revealed that all the comments praised the Creality K1 Max printer and were posted simultaneously, with many of them sharing strikingly similar sentiments.

He further commented, “Wow, that’s shady. I can’t support Creality. That’s ridiculous.”

The revelation sparked reactions from viewers, including popular 3D printing content creator MandicReally, who noted that mentions of the K1 and other recent products from Creality were seemingly being subjected to similar bot-generated comments.

One commenter criticized Creality’s flagship printer, stating, “It’s because their (flagship printer) is turning out to be hot garbage with terrible hot ends and extruder issues out of the box.”

Another viewer shared a common sentiment, stating, “This is really common. Once you know what to look for, you will see this everywhere.”
